Privacy
Updated October 6, 2026
This notice covers the shared Google login for jlbeck.com and the private member websites it supports. These sites are operated by Joe Beck. For account or privacy questions, email beckjl19@gmail.com.
Information used for sign-in
Google and our authentication provider, Supabase, provide basic profile information such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We use this information to identify your account, connect it with your existing site history, and apply Joe’s approval and site permissions. The sites do not receive your Google password and do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or contacts.
A session cookie keeps you signed in across the sites in the same browser. Signing in does not automatically grant access to every site. New accounts remain pending until Joe approves them.
Information from using the sites
The sites store the content and activity needed for their features, including comments, account balances, market activity, picks, and results. Some member websites also record the pages signed-in readers visit and time spent reading, associated with the reader’s account, for Joe’s reading-activity dashboard.
Account and site notification emails use your registered email address. Our hosting and authentication services also process technical request and security information to operate the sites.
Who can access information
Joe manages accounts, permissions, and site data. Other approved members can see information presented by a site’s features, such as names, comments, picks, leaderboards, and market activity. Visibility depends on the site and feature.
Service providers process information as needed to run the sites: Google for sign-in and email delivery, Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Vercel for hosting. Site automation also runs through GitHub Actions. Google account information is used for sign-in, account management, and operating these site features, rather than advertising.
History and account requests
Deleting a member account removes access and stops future site emails. Historical comments, picks, and market records remain. A minimal account record, including linked email addresses, is retained to prevent accidental reactivation or further emails. When approved accounts are linked, existing comments and picks remain attached to their historical records; old email addresses may be retained to document that connection.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to change your primary Google email, contact Joe at beckjl19@gmail.com. Joe will verify account ownership and review the request, including its effect on shared site records and backups. Do not send passwords or verification codes.
You can sign out through any site’s sign-out link. You can also remove the app’s Google access in your Google Account connections. Removing Google access does not itself delete history stored on these sites; contact Joe about that history.
